Human Base was founded in 1997 by award winning, German master luthier, Siggi Jaeger. Over the last ten years Siggi Jaeger`s HUMAN BASE instruments have become famous for their solid craftsmanship, sophisticated construction techniques and high quality materials.  His designs have become the premier first call bass for those that seek master quality custom built instruments.

Siggi offers limited runs of his own custom models which we now have access to, such as the ClassX, Max,Jonas, BaseX, Xover and JBX models. The introduction of the BaseX.oc series has led the expansion of the Human Base line, into a working musician’s environment.

The idea was not just to offer an entry level bass with no frills electronics and hardware and whack a boutique brand name on, it was to offer an honest and versatile bass with the now famous Human Base high quality and performance. What you get is exceptional playability, and a very wide range of tones, often associated with other basses with a familiar style and character in a much higher price range.  This is made possible by using high-end boutique electronics, pickups, and hardware and other features which are used on his high-end custom models. The sound is versatile and focused towards a dry growl which will cut through the mix with authority regardless of musical style.

	Human Base Bridge: H/Duty metal base plate, individual saddles offering height, intonation & side by side adjustments. The longer design allows better intonation across the wide range of string gauges used by today's player			Controls: Volume -push pull active/passive, Blend, Bass cut/boost, Mid cut/boost, Treble cut/boost & Passive Tone in passive mode, Parallel/Series switch.
	Zero Fret & Graphite Nut: for consistent string tone from open to fretted notes & helps keep the action above the first fret low and a consistent even feel at the open position. Graphite nut is internally lubricated for consistent and even tuning.			Delano Pickups: Hand made, custom wound in Germany. They offer incredible detail, articulation and low noise. Huge output which is thick yet surprisingly dynamic. The perfect bass pickup for any musical situation.
	H T Neck Joint System: Human Base High Tension (HT) neck joint features a wedge like neck extension which goes more deeper into the body than a traditional bolt on system. This offers a stronger and more stable joint and improves the coupling between the body and neck.			Glockenklang Preamp: wide range 3 band EQ which is dead quiet yet powerful and the perfect compliment for the Delano pickups. Control cavity fully shielded inside the cavity with copper.
