This is a very special and super versatile Sadowsky, showcasing a very high grade exhibition Buckeye Burl top and for the first time their newly released Super P pickup option in the neck position together with their Super J 60/70 pickup option in the bridge position.  In addition to these upgrades, this bass comes with a 1.75mm nut width and 18mm bridge string spacing which are both rare upgrades to find on a single Sadowsky.

The Super P pickup offers 3-way switching between Standard P for a traditional Precision bass tone / Reverse P for a more tighter and focused B/E strings while at the same time a more warmer response on the D and G strings. With the 3-way switch in the middle position you can run both coils in humbucker mode for a typical fat, modern sounding tone. At the same time you have the option of the Super Jazz 60/70 bridge pickup which was designed as part of the Single Cut bass series based on a request for a pickup that could switch between 60’s and 70’s J bass bridge locations. A separate 3-way toggle switch selects the 60 coil, both coils together in parallel as a humbucker, and the 70 coil. The two rows of pole pieces are placed close together to mimic the difference in locations between the Fender 60 location and 70 location.

Between these 2 super pickup configurations you have a bass which is a tone monster with endless tone shaping and sound possibilities. Very versatile for live or studio work.
